LTC Cummings of the Army Public Affairs Office has confirmed that the Secretary of the Army, the Honorable John McHugh approved a plan today to begin the fielding of MultiCam (http://www.multicampattern.com/) uniforms and individual equipment as soon as possible. Sources have informed Soldier Systems Daily that the Army plans to begin issuing as early as July of this year for Afghanistan bound troops and to complete the initial fielding by May of 2011.
A DoD news release about the Secretary’s approval also stated that the Army remains committed to completing phase IV of the camouflage (http://soldiersystems.net/2009/09/26/camo-for-afghanistan-the-rest-of-the-story-2/) project which will develop a long-term strategy for the Army.

Was auch immer das heißen mag? Man sucht entweder weiter nach möglichen neuen Optionen für die ganze Army (sprich neues oder adaptiertes Pattern) oder führt MC Army-weit ein?;):?: Man darf also weiter gespannt sein.

At a date to be determined, the Army will establish and evaluate a long-term plan for ACU camouflage. If a new pattern is selected, even for limited use in Afghanistan, it may very well promulgate throughout the Army if it is demonstrates improved camouflage traits.Heißt ja nix anderes als: Man schaut ob UCP weiterhin verwendet werden kann. Wenn ja wie und wo, oder in welcher Form ? Oder falls sich eine (die) neue Camo als effektiver erweist könnte diese in der gesamten Army eingeführt werden. Oder....... who knows what´s next ?:rolleyes:

War nicht in den ganzen Test schon immer klar das Multicam eine deutlich bessere Tarnwirkung sowohl im Menschlich Visuellen bereich, als auch im VideoOptischen bereich besitzt?

Scope, nicht wirklich Multicam fährt hier in Böblingen zur Feierabendszeit schon länger durch die Gegend (US Navy Seals, Green Berets und United States Army Special Forces Command (Airborne)) als der MulticamHype durch die Airsoftforen geistert.
"US Army Battle Display" wird eh eher kleiner geschrieben, macht doch im Airsoftbereich so gut wie fast jeder auf "PMC" und "Späschel Forces" ich behaupte mal ganz dreißt das es mehr Airsoft-Späschels gibt als in der Realität, wenn ich nur daran denke wieviele "KSK" Airsoftler....ach lassen wir das, ist ein anderes Thema :D
Zurück zu den Uniformen, ich hab neulich ein interessantes Auto an der Ampel gesehen, 4 Leute, ACU,Multicam, dieses balue Navydigital ACU und Woodland in einer ganz abgefahrenen verpixelten Variante das sah im ganz groben so aus wie dieses spanische hier nur in schön, das hatte wirklich was.
In solchen Momenten könnt ich mir in die Faust beißen das ich kein Fotohandy habe
